This will be my last ever winter running my online shop and I want it to be great!
To this end, I’ve been going through my remaining stock and assembling joyous gift bundles into a shiny new section called Holidays Shop. Everything here is designed to nourish your creativity and help you carve out time to make and reflect – to add fuel to your creative fire, deep in the midwinter.
You’ll find journaling inspiration and tools in my KNITSONIK Bullet Journaling course – which you can now send as a gift, via one of my shiny Golden Tickets…
…You’ll find a wealth of design ideas, techniques and inspiration for translating your life into stranded colourwork in my KNITSONIK Sourcebook & in Janine’s Joy of Color…
…and you’ll find masses of ideas for combining different yarn palettes in Ella’s fabulously colourful and cheering volumes of Wirsit Inspo.
For a deep dive into the theory and practice of working with Colour see the Colour at Work, Colour at Play bundle…
…to armchair-travel to Shetland through recipes, articles and knitting patterns, Misa’s Shetland Wool Adventures Journals really are the best.
These journals are full of atmospheric photography, fascinating articles on history and culture, and recipes and knitting patterns from Shetland’s incredibly talented creative community. They really are the next best thing to visiting the isles, and the perfect books to curl up with. Get Volumes 1 – 3 individually here or click this link to go straight to the bundle.

Another superlative book with which to hunker down in winter is Kate’s beautiful love-letter to creativity and its different modes: Wheesht. I return to these essays often, to remember how other makers make; for ideas and inspiration; and for creative prompts and starting points.
Finally, if you want to design your own stranded colourwork and benefit from a mix of videos and books, I’ve put together a definitive bundle that includes the KNITSONIK Stranded Colourwork Sourcebook; a handy notebook for all your charting endeavours; and access to my KNITSONIK System flagship online course.
This winter is the last, last chance to get KNITSONIK books as a holiday gift. I’m going all out with lovely packing tape, my favourite stamps, and all the shiny stickers. If you buy a Golden Ticket in order to gift someone a course place then, providing it’s not part of a larger order, it’ll go in the post in a handwritten golden envelope with a golden seal and a cheerful mix of commemorative GB stamps.
️You’ll find a useful list of last dates for ordering for the holidays on the Delivery page in the KNITSONIK shop; the last dates by which to place orders are given beside your country/region, to ensure things arrive in time for the holidays. Bookmark it now!
I’ve loved putting The Holidays Shop together and am especially happy to be able to share work there from my dear and talented friends Ella Gordon, Janine Bajus, Misa Hay and Kate Davies. Thanks for keeping us all in business.
