I’m really excited to share that I’m showing at Yarningham this year. There’s an amazing line-up for the marketplace and the designers showcase and it’s going to be a diverse, creative celebration of yarn and stitch. I’m so happy to be a part of it.

The festival takes place in the beautiful setting of the Uffculme Centre, located in leafy Moseley, Birmingham. It runs over the weekend of 13th and 14th of July. There’ll be two floors of colourful yarn, notions, tools and patterns to explore, as well as a yarn swap run by members of Birmingham Weavers, Spinners and Dyers and Birmingham Knitting and Crochet Guild. As at all the best yarn festivals, there will be cake.

I’ve spent the past few days excitedly planning what to bring and show. There’ll be a selection of books and some exciting festival-only offers on courses in my KNITSONIK School. Is there anything you’d especially like to see at Yarningham from KNITSONIK? Let me know!
My good friend Jeanette will also be there, running the BIPOC in Fiber stand. Jeanette founded BIPOC in Fiber in 2019 to amplify and celebrate the work of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour working in the fibre industry. Follow Jeanette on social media or subscribe to her newsletter to hear more about what she is bringing to Yarningham!
And if you’re coming, find us both upstairs in the Designers Showcase section.

This is the only yarn event I’m doing in 2024 and I’d love to see you there!
